Things are starting to really roll now that we’re in the middle of February. But perhaps the biggest music news right now is the new album from Radiohead, titled,  The King of Limbs. The MP3 version of the album is officially available today via the band’s The King of Limbs website.

Of course, like so many others, we were waiting anxiously for the official drop. Since then, only a few hours ago, we’ve listened to The King of Limbs twice, and there are definitely a few good songs that stand out right away, like “Lotus Flower,” “Give Up The Ghost,” “Codex” and “Bloom.” There is more mixing of electronic and acoustic throughout, even dubstep, with thumping bass lines and fading vocals of Thom Yorke.

The one track that stands out the most for us right now is “Lotus Flower,” which is the first official single from the album. If we were to pick the second single from the record, it would have to be “Bloom.”

After we watched the video for “Lotus Flower,” we were, well, a bit creeped out by Thom’s spastic movements and strange facial expressions.  But, on second thought, it’s just Thom expressing himself in a way only he can. So, we’re not really crept out anymore. Anyways, who cares, we are enjoying this mostly mellowed out, almost dreamy, new album by Radiohead.

What we really want to know is what all of you think about the album. Do you like it? Why or why not? What’s your favorite song?
