Help Support IRC So We Can Bring You Rare, Amazing Indie Music from Around the World

We are asking our frequent visitors (and there are thousands of you) to help support us so that we can fulfill our mission to bring you great content you won't find anywhere else about the most amazing indie rock and pop (main emphasis) and the best in other forms like electronica and hiphop. Any donation is greatly appreciated. We are working hard to bring more dynamic features to our readers, so hang in there! :-)

This website has big plans to create a fully cutting-edge, interactive and unique community of indie rock fans and artists bringing you daily news, reviews, Podcasts, special features, concert listings, interviews, indie playlists, MP3s, forums, new hot songs and artists, band and artist profiles, member (that's you) pages and exclusive reports - all about indie and alternative rock.

The revenue we make from the ads on this site are not even enough to pay for our monthly hosting service! Also, count on us to bring you other news whenever we get a scoop! We're also working behind the scenes to launch an all-new, cool design and navigation, but we need your help. Peace.

Elliott Smith's Remembered

Today marks three years since the passing of one of the best singer/songwriters to ever have lived.

Elliott Smith committed suicide at the age of 34 in Los Angeles on October 21, 2003 after suffering years of depression and drug abuse. His deep and melancholy songs moved millions of fans. His music and memory will live on. That is for sure.

Smith rose to national prominence after his songs appeared in blockbuster movies like Good Will Hunting and American Beauty. He continued to release highly acclaimed, heart-wrenching music in to the new century.

Here are some Elliott Smith sites to explore:
